a few weeks ago, suhee & i went down to L.A. to spend some time w/my parents. at our hotel, they were filming an nbc tv show called "heroes". i took a picture of one of the main characters (hiro nakamura, played by masi oka) filming a scene. during my time at the hotel, several people approached me thinking that i was that actor. in fact one of the staff from universal studios came up to me & said, "good morning, you look so different without your hair". i politely told her that i wasn't who she thought i was.in the tv show, this character (hiro) is portrayed as a short & nerdy asian guy w/a thick japanese accent. those incidents of mistaken identity reminded me that when people look at me all they see a short & nerdy asian guy who probably has a thick accent.

freakin hilarious. I looked at the picture before reading the post, and I thought, "hey, here's a picture of PJ with scruffy hair". hahaha good stuff
